In a month's time the entire Volturi would be upon us, there was only one chance to be able to stop them that she could foresee, it wouldn't be pretty, but they had to try. Alice's began gently speaking, as though afraid someone might over hear and dash their hopes "We need to gently show them, give them a moment to pause and listen, to see that we speak the truth." She'd heard doubts, murmurs and the defeated phrase 'We can't win..' Carlisle had mentioned that perhaps we could research our options, try to see if there had been other such occasions with this rare blessing of our Nessie. That perhaps if we spoke with the clans that they might not fight, but they might in fact stand with us as 'witness' to Nessie. "Carlisle, we'll have to ask them just right, everyone will have to be slowly and carefully shown. Tanya's family, Siobhan's Coven, Amun's, some of the Nomad's. Garrett and Mary, Alistair." Jasper softly wondered aloud, "Maybe Peter and Charlotte?" Nodding to him as a vision started racing through her head, almost faster than she could keep up with, lowering her head to look down at the floor whispering "I can't see .." Edwards head snapped up boring down on her with intense curiosity as he sought to read her mind's thoughts. "What about the jungle, are we suppose to start there?" Shaking her head "I can't see!" her voice rose several octaves higher as she shook. "Ask Eleazar, there is more to this than just Renesmee." Slowly blinking she fought to regain her composure as Edward continued to push, he didn't understand what he'd seen, it made no sense to his mind, how could it? Hers was racing with all the decisions changing by the moment. "Edward, STOP! I CANNOT SEE! Jacob is almost here!" That broke his query from my mind. Grabbing Jasper and impatiently pulling him out the door, she'd called over her shoulder "Hurry! You have to find them ALL!" Wind whipping around them as they rushed off in moments they were gone.
As we dashed out of the house, leaping across the river Jasper knew something was off, that Alice had some sort of plan, she'd glimpsed an idea of what could help their dire circumstances. He knew she'd never abandon their family, or anyone she cared about, it simply was not in her DNA nor her heart to run away, she was more the type to sacrifice herself than know harm or death awaited those she loved. He ran along side her trusting her as he always had with his life, love, body and spirit. They'd run in wider and wider arcs as they raced east of the house, before turning north towards the river and lunging back across. Sprinting West they crossed the river once more before coming to the Quileute border.
