~Rose wasn't used to being uncertain. She wasn't used to having so many feelings, and being unsure of what she wanted next. But right now she wanted to go back to Forks.~
~being away from her family was harder than she had thought it would be. Not having Renesmee there to play with, nor her brothers or sisters, was depressing. She missed her parents, too. Sure, she hadn't wanted this life. Some days she still didn't. But that didn't mean that she had regrets for her family. Carlisle and Esme loved her like her biological parent's hadn't. And her siblings were wonderful. And Lord knew what she would do without Emmett or Ryder. So in a way, she was happy. Happy she was a vampire, happy she had her little home here in England, happy that she had her son, had her husband.~
~but she missed home. And home wasn't here. Her heart had been left in that house in Forks. If they hadn't gone to that stupid reunion, chances were that they could have stayed, at least for another year. But it had happened, and here they were now. She had to make the best of it.~
Daddy!
~Ryder clapped from his high chair and held his hands up to Emmett who smiled at him like his world was complete. Moments like this made all of the pain, all of the anger, completely worth it. She loved her little monkey, and her monkey man.~
I think it's about time for someone to have a nap, Mr. Ryder. And I think mama and daddy need a nap too.
~she looked at Emmett, a small smile slipping onto her face. That was definitely another good thing about being on their own; Ryder was a sound sleeper, and they could break all of the furniture that they wanted.~
