Bella stared at the black garment bag that hung in the massive closet that Alice had fixed up in the cottage she shared with Edward. Everyone was beginning to get ready and Alice had brought over the heels that went perfect with the dress. They had all went over "human lessons" and given her a refresher course of acting human. Esme had thought up a lovely cover story and she kept repeating it in her mind to familiarize herself with the words.
Part of her feared tonight, felt like something was...ending? When she'd returned from shopping with Alice yesterday she noticed the tick in Edward's jaw as he clenched it. There was something he wasn't saying. Something he held back. Did he too think this was a bad idea? Before she could ask he took her home and avoided her questions with the best distraction she knew.
Her hand outreached to the bag and sighed.

Edward had been thinking about every possible outcome of what tonight could bring, he was not sure how the reunion would go, he had Alice checking out every outcome that she could come up with and everything would turn out fine, but there was still a inkling of doubt in his mind that there was something that she was not telling him, only that to stick close to Bella. He had tried to probe her mind, but with Mozart flowing through her mind it was hard to break down her barrier.
Once he and Bella were back at the cottage he caught a glimpse of a black garment bag that contained Bella's dress that Alice would not let him see, but he knew whatever Bella wore she was beautiful. He walked across to Bella as she stood staring at the bag.
"Tell me what your thinking" he whispered.

She smiled hearing his voice behind her and dropped her hand, turning to face him. He looked good enough to eat, thoughts went through her mind that would normally cause heat to her cheeks, but now she was able to conceal that human factor. Looking down once before pulling her hair behind her ear she looked back up at him. "I'm just thinking how much of a disaster this could possibly be. And that dress..." She chuckled and shook her head. "You'd swear I was going to a red carpet event or something." She was still humble and didn't feel as if she was ready to be gawked at like that, even though secretly, deep down....she loved the dress.

"You know how Alice can be when it comes too shopping" he smirked as he let his fingers trail across the garment bag and could only imagine how the dressed looked and how Bella would look in it. His own outfit was already hung in the bedroom, a standard black suit and silk shirt.
"And everything will be fine. I promise you that" he smiled as he wrapped his arms around her waist "Trust me" he whispered.

She lifted her arms around his broad shoulders and turned her head so that her cheek was on his shoulder. "So then what was with the eerie looks when we got back yesterday?" She asked then pulled back to look up at him and search his eyes. "What aren't you telling me?" Part of her feared what he could be holding back. Had something happened to Charlie, Jake or Nessa? What did he know that she didn't?
"Tell me...please."

It was true, he had been keeping something back from her, but had not found the right time to tell her about what he and the others had discussed before Bella and the others returned home from shopping.
"Carlisle...and the others are finding it more difficult to hunt. The animals are becoming scarce, we have never been in one place for so long and as people will soon start to know that we have not changed. We will need to leave...and soon Bella" he finished, not knowing what Bella would say to this development.

Studying his face as he spoke she felt like she'd been punched. They'd traveled before but always managed to come back. It was never permanent. But Charlie...she'd have to leave Charlie, forever. "Charlie...I mean what about him. I can't...I can't just leave him. And Jacob, we can't separate them, you know what that'll do." She shook her head and swallowed. "I can't...not yet."

Edward could hear the despair in Bella's voice over leaving Charlie and what it would do to Jacob when Renesmee had too leave with them, he would not leave without all of their family by his side. He knew that it would hurt Bella having to leave everything behind, but it came with the territory of being a vampire.
"We will talk about it later, we don't want too be late" Edward placed a soft kiss on her cheek and turned to get ready.

He didn't argue with her which made her worrisome about his thinking. She blinked and sighed when he kissed her cheek and turned to go get ready for the night. When this was over, she'd speak to him...to all of them. They couldn't leave, at least not yet. Charlie needed her. She knew this day would come, but she didn't realize how soon it would be. Leaving her alone in the massive closet she began to think hard about what he said. The pixie voice of Alice broke her thoughts as she blinked and looked over her shoulder at Alice in the doorway with a bag of beauty supplies. "I've come to do your hair and make up." She smiled brightly and Bella sighed then nodded. As she made her up, she questioned her about the future and Alice was certain it was to be a great night, if no one changed their mind about the future. Well, that was reassuring.
She stepped into the floor length dress that had the split from her thigh to the floor, a black belt with large studs around her small waist. The low dip V giving the smallest hint to her cleavage made her want to groan, but overall she felt...sexy. Confident. Her makeup flawlessly applied, her hair in waves like in the twenties, Edward was sure to love. One last look in the full length mirror, Alice squeed and kissed her cheek. "My turn, I'll see you later." And with that she was gone. She stood there staring at her reflection and swallowed thickly.

Edward headed into their large bedroom to begin getting ready to leave for this evening. He peeled himself off his clothes and quickly dressed himself. His suit was a simple black attire, and only doing one button up to keep his jacket straightened out. His shirt was a light grey/blue shirt that glided over his skin like silk. His mind was clouded with what would happened after the reunion and how Bella was going to take that they all agreed that they needed too move on and soon. This was one of the downsides of being a vampire.
He remembered long ago when Bella had first discovered that he and his family were vampires and that Rosalie wanted too leave, saying that it was too dangerous to remain in Forks. But he did not want too leave, something about Bella drew him in. As he finished dressing himself, he his remained the same, shades of bronze flush through his soft hair.
He was ready for tonight.
But he doubted himself that he was ready for what would occur afterwards when it came to formally discussing about what to do in regards to leaving Forks behind for several years. Edward entered to where he had heard Bella and Alice and only found Bella in her dress for tonight, speechless as the beauty that stood before him.
"You look beautiful"

She smiled and turned to face him, taking in the sight of him and how divine he looked in the suit he wore. Parting her lips with her tongue and wetting the ruby color that covered them, she ran her palms along her sides and inhaled slowly. "You look amazing...now tell me, too much?" She quirked a brow with a smile and watched his eyes rake over her body. All of a sudden she was...nervous? Seeing her old classmates and answering all the questions they were sure to have. Remember the cover story, remember, she mentally reminded herself.

"It's just right" he whispered as he closed the gap between then and let his lips caress across her pert ruby lips, enjoying this last moment of silence before everything became hectic at the school.
Edward wrapped his hand Bella's and raised it to meet his lips one last time.
"We should go" he smiled as Bella nodded in reluctance and followed him out of their cottage, so let it all begin.
