-It was feat getting Rose to leave Ryder with the menfolk, but finally I was able to convince her (along with some strong wording from Bella) we NEEDED to go shopping. I mean..hello? A reunion? We had to have new gear! Nessa wanted to spend time with us as well, so she was easy to talk into coming with. But I swear….Bella! I have never met someone so diametrically opposed to fashion, although in the last few years, she didn’t put up too big a fight. And I knew just the place to go….-
-An hour later, we piled out of the silver Audi, laughing at some retro joke Rose had made and headed for the doors to the mall. Thankfully it was lightly raining and we were dressed in a way that shouldn’t draw too much attention. Once in the cool, dim light of the galleria, I guided us all to the shop I’d read about yesterday..”Fae Fashions”. They had THE cutest things in their adverts. Ohhh……making a beeline for a rack of dresses, I was in bliss- Gah. Five years….they passed so quickly. I’m kind of excited to be going…aren’t you?

Bella smiled and talked to Rosalie and Nessie as Alice drove into the city. There was something, though she could not pin point what, that seemed to be on Renesmee's mind. Leaving it alone, she laughed at Alice's eagerness to dress them all and shook her head. Turning her attention back to the road as the light drizzle splattered over the windshield.
They all laughed exiting Alice's car, Rosalie did have a sense of humor just not everyone saw that. Heading into the nice galleria that Alice had insisted they shop at with the latest trends, she sighed at the extravagant looking dresses. "Alice...this...is a little much for a reunion isn't it? I mean, it's not the Grammy's you know."
Fumbling through the rack of different colored dresses, Rose came up behind her with a smirk. "Any occasion is a Grammy event to Alice. Haven't you learned by now, we only wear the best." Nessie giggled and picked out a dress from the rack showing it to Rose who ooo'ed over it. It was sleak and sexy, definitely her style. Nodding she turned back to the rack and looked up at Alice on the opposite side. "Excited? Sort of. Not looking forward to the weird looks." She still wasn't one to be 'center of attention'.

-smiling at her as I pulled out a silvery spangly thigh length sheath and moved around the rack to hold it up to her, tilting my head this way and that before looking at Nessa and Rose, who both took a long moment, looked at the dress Nessa had in her hands and then grumbled. I grinned at the "don't know why we even try." as they set the sleek dress back on the rack. Rose caught my look and shrugged- What? It's true, Alice! -then she flipped her blonde hair at me as she and Ness moved to another circular rack of scarves. Turning back to Bells, smiling-Weird looks? Are you kidding me? It's only been five years, Bella. Not enough for any of us to have "aged" that much. Of course if you're talking about the glistening luster of your hair and skin, well then..yeah. But the good news is...it'll probably be very dim in there. Besides, I'm sure the only thing ANYONE is going to be interested in is what we DO, not what we look like...

She looked down at the dress she held against her and wrinkled her nose, too glamorous she thought. Sighing as Alice continued to look through the dresses, she touched the rack and leaned against it. "If you say so Alice, after all if anyone would know it would be you right? I'm guessing we all have a magnificent time?" Rose snorted and looked down, not commenting. Nessa pulled a dress from the rack and smiled.
"Look mama, I mean...Miss Bella." She looked around for any ears that heard her slip and blushed a bit. Yet another cover story, surely she could not be the mother of a teen when she herself was just a teen. She looked at the dress Nessa held and tilted her head, picturing herself in it. "The style...is okay. The color, not so much." Orange was not her favorite color.

-motioning both Rose and Nessa to my side, pulling out the royal blue knee length dress with flared sleeves and a sweetheart neckline. They both looked at Bella, then the dress, then Bella again then Rose murmured "An option" so I held onto it. I didn't answer at her blithe assumption, her quirky question. I mean, I'd seen something alright, but...it had to pan out. And it could change...well..THAT part anyway. But the point was, no matter how the reunion turned out, we were already on a course that was setting other things in motion-Well, as long as Edward goes against doing the Harlem Shake, I'd say we have a..memorable time...

She grinned at the dress that they all agree was an option to add to the 'possible' pile. Sighing, she continued to look through the numbers of dresses. One of the sales women came up and smiled. "Hello, can I help you today. My, you are all stunning. Are you supermodels?" Bella laughed out loud and turned to look at the others who just grinned. Shaking her head humbly, "No, but thank you. Just shopping for a reunion. But I think we have it." If she didn't send her away now, she'd be the mannequin while the others made her put on dress after dress.

-I deftly moved towards the saleslady, giving her a bright smile which she returned. I stared at her for a long moment and she moved off, still with a glazed look on her face.Turning back, to my companions as I continued to peruse the dresses-Oh, hello! BINGO! -my voice rose in triumph as I pulled out a sleek, floor length dress, black and seductive with a low cut back and split to mid thigh. It came with a girded golden belt and I grinned as I recalled my vision. Holding it up to Bella, I could see she was full of arguments behind her eyes but I just shook my head- Don't even. This is the one...*thrusting it at her* Right size, too. Don't bother trying it on, cos you look FAB in it. -cheeky grin as I moved to pick up the dress I'd seen earlier for myself. Renesmee and Rose just burst out laughing at the look on Bella's face as she gave a low huffing growl, then sighed- Good girl, sis. -smirking- I have a pair of heels at home that might go perfect with that, too. They'll fit you. Of course.

"Al--" Her words were cut off by her comment about having the perfect heels to match with it. She sighed and took the hanger with the long sleek dress that looked like something a fashion model would wear to an event. This was definitely attention grabbing and she knew it would only cause much unwanted attention. Running a hand along the soft material she looked up at Rose and Nessa who smiled and agreed that it would be perfect. She had lost this battle, why fight.

-wrinkling my nose-Always so much easier when you guys just learn the age old adage...Alice is ALWAYS right! -chuckling, we all moved off to the counter to pay for the purchases then it was back in the car, heading home. Rose cracked me up so much sometimes..she really DID have a dry, verbose wit that not many people noticed...-
