-she hadn't seen Jacob Black since she had become 'normal' again. Her mom had unchained her and held her all night as she cried. How could she try to kill Jake?! Her Jake? She had almost drained him to the point of no return, and if she had? She didn't even want to think about how she would have reacted.-
-she didn't remember much; it was as though she weren't in control of her body, which was strange. It was even more strange that it was the charm Jake had given her causing everything to happen. She had loved that charm. It was beautiful! But that was neither here nor there. The fact of the matter was... she would never touch that charm again.-
I need to get out.... -she shook her head and laughed quietly at herself; cabin fever didn't begin to describe what she was feeling. But she wasn't allowed to leave. It seemed lately that she was only ever getting into trouble, so it had been determined that she wasn't leaving the house, not for a while. So instead she lay in her bed, reading a book and listening to music. She wasn't even in the tree-house. She was staying in her mother and father's cottage. She yawned and sat her book down, rolling onto her side and staring out the window into the woods. It was a beautiful day.-
-she could still see the tree looming in the distance; she didn't know what they would do to it. Would they let it stand and hope that the spirit of Aponi would move on, finally be at peace? Or would they need to tear the tree down and burn it so as to not have any more accidents with her? The hurt, the pain, that she had felt when Aponi was with her was almost unbearable; simply thinking of it caused her heart to ache, physically ache. She grabbed the bear that her Aunt Rose had given her when she was smaller and cuddled next to it, letting a single tear slip from her cheek as she sent up a silent prayer, a prayer that Aponi would be able to live happily, a prayer that Nootau and Huyana no longer would be tormented by what had happened, and a prayer that she and her family could continue to live in peace.-
-that last part... yeah, she wasn't going to hold out hope. Trouble would be back soon.... It always was.-
