Mothers' Intuition (3 Months ago)

She could sense it...something was off with Renesmee. Ever since last week when she heard her daughter scream out in her dreams. They had rushed to her side, she insisted she was fine and it was just a nightmare. But it was more...way more than she led on. Something in her gut told her there was more underneath the surface that her daughter masked with a smile. Bella brought up her concerns with Edward, to which he reassured her they should trust their daughters word. When she asked if her mind said the same he smiled and admitted that he blocked his thoughts from hers as to not listen in. Not since...not since he heard her hormonal ideas about Jacob. That's when he had the drastic idea to not listen in.

The next week was filled with eerie silence and strange looks at everyone. Edward, Rose, Alice, Esme, Carlisle...and herself. When Bella would bring up Jacob, she'd excuse herself. Something was wrong with her daughter and it wasn't until the day she asked her about her past with Jacob...that's when she knew she must have heard something about it. The truth was always best, no matter how much it hurt but that day...their conversation was misunderstood...and she blamed herself.
