-it's a strange feeling, watching everything going on around you but unable to catch anyone's attention.- Aunt Rose? -so strange. She was still human! And... Oh, she was beautiful. The most beautiful woman on the planet, by far.-
-it was dark and Rose was walking down the street, not a care in the world. Ness followed behind her quietly, watching her every move, jumping at every sound. Rose looked perfectly happy, and perfectly ignorant to her surroundings. Ness had heard the sounds down the street, knew that something was lurking, something that was going to change... everything.- Aunt Rose, you have to stop. Don't... Please don't keep going. -the farther her aunt walked, the more she knew what was about to happen. This was why her Aunt Rose had been changed, this was when her life had been ripped so carelessly from her. Her heart clenched and she felt nausea roll in her gut as she heard the man down the street call to her aunt.-
Rose!
-Aunt Rose turned her head and frowned as she walked towards the man that she was supposed to be marrying in just a few days time.-
Here's my Rose! You're late! We're cold, you kept us waiting too long. What did I tell you, John? Isn't she lovelier than all of your Georgia peaches?"
-Ness clenched her hands into tight fists as she watched; Rose looked slightly worried, as though she knew something wasn't right. But she still stood there with his arm around her, staring at the men that surrounded her. It wasn't until Royce ripped the jacket he had given her as a present, brass buttons flying and pinging off of the ground, that she realized something wasn't right. Nessa fought the urge, knowing it was pointless to try and stop it; this was all in the past, and she was just an outsider viewing her aunts memories. Rose cried out again as Royce ripped her hat from her head. Ness turned away, unable to watch the rest and somehow managed to block out what had happened next.-
-then, miraculously, there he was... Papa Carlisle. He had picked up her Aunt Rose and taken off with her at the speed of light, leaving Nessa to stand in the dark, damp street listening to the sounds of Royce and his friends stumble drunkenly down the street laughing. A man said something about Royce needing a new wife, and Royce laughed before stating he needed to learn patience first. Nessa let out a scream that resounded through the night and then.....-

You won't say a word. You will be silent, not making a sound, as I do this. You deserve it. You deserve every last second of pain for what you have done to her.
-her eyes widened as she appeared in the middle of yet another darkened alley. There stood her father, a man pressed against the wall with her father's hand placed roughly across his lips. That... That looked nothing like her dad! There was no way.....-
You will feel every bit of pain that you have caused.
-Ness let out a scream when her father sank his teeth into the man's neck, continuing to hold onto his head as he took greedy, long pulls from the mans vein. Nessa's body was on fire watching it; she was hungry. So very, very hungry. But... What was her dad doing? She walked forward until she stood directly behind her father, her eyes closing as she concentrated on the images flashing through her fathers mind. A gasp escaped from her and her hands went to her lips. She could see what her father was seeing from the man's mind; it was.... so strange, so intrusive and yet she could completely understand and justify what her father was doing. This man... He was terrible. Tears formed in her eyes as she realized what it was. This was Gramma Esme's ex-husband, the man that had beaten, raped and abused her for so long. And her father, Nessa's new hero, was making him pay for his sins-
-it was only a couple of minutes later that the man stilled, the last bit of light from his eyes dimming and her father let him drop to the ground. His eyes were bright red, a pleased, almost sadistic, smile was on his lips as he wiped way the blood that stained them. He walked slowly, whistling a tune as he strolled down the alleyway without a care in the world. Nessa watched him, surprised and happy that this was her father.-

-mere seconds later she was somewhere else. Somewhere dark, damp and that smelled of mildew.... and death.-
-a woman whimpered in the corner, her knees curled tight against her chest and her hands covering her ears to block out the screams. This woman... something about her was so familiar. She walked forward and the woman stared up at her, as though she could see her; her eyes were wide, her face gaunt and eyes sunken in. Her hair was so short that it was almost not even there. Nessa felt more tears fill her eyes and she stepped forward, kneeling in front of the woman and reaching out towards her.- Au.... Aunt Alice?
-the woman gasped and shuffled quickly, and clumsily, back to the darkest corner of the room.-
NO! Sta..... Stay away! You're not there. It's not real. Alice, breathe. It's not real! No! Please!!
-her aunts screams echoed in the room; Alice, the one who always smiled and danced and flitted about as though her life was picture perfect. Alice, who never had a bad thing to say and always had a shoulder to cry on. This... this was her life, before she was turned. This dark place riddled with disease, where screams echoed down the halls and the lights flickered from the electroshock treatments the doctors just knew were the cure for any and all ailments.-
-she had to leave, had to stop this nightmare. Her Alice was so frail and weak, tears streaming down her face as she screamed at her unseen intruder.-
Ms. Brandon! Please calm down or we will have to resume treatments! SILENCE!
-Alice stopped screaming and whimpered into her hands as she rocked back and forth. Nessa saw the doctor turn from the door, heard him whispering to the nurse that was beside him.-
Get the machine's ready. Apparently her last treatment has not worked correctly; we'll need to use more power this time. Send someone in to re-shave her head and prepare her on the gurney.[/color]
-Nessa let out a scream louder than all of the ones combined in the wards of the asylum and vanished-

-she wrinkled up her nose as she appeared on yet another dark street. There were people running around everywhere with pitchforks and torches, screaming about the abominations that stalked the night and how they would burn in hell for being alive when they should be dead. She knew where she was almost immediately: London, 1663. Her Papa was leading the search for vampires and had done the thing his father before him had never managed to do... He had found an actual vampire coven.-
You keep going! Stay vigilant! Don't give up and whatever you do, STAY IN A GROUP! STAY SAFE! Keep your crosses at your neck, your fire in front and your spirits high! Our Lord and Savior shall deliver us from this evil this night!
-she grinned as she head her Papa over everyone; his voice rang through the darkness like the sound of a bell leading home the lost. Even she felt pumped up, as though there was no way that they could fail. The crowd took off, yelling loudly, towards the sewers. Carlisle stood alone, looking off after them. He couldn't bear the thought of his flock being hurt, so he had sent them in the wrong direction. Truth be told, the vampire was here.... right here with him.-
Come out. Meet your death with grace, not fear. I will lessen the pain and bring you eternal happiness, for I am sure that the Lord God will redeem you. You just need to repent.
-she heard shuffling, and laughter, before the stench of the sewer hit her. She wrinkled her nose, then plugged her nostrils with her fingers as she breathed through her mouth. There he stood, the vampire; his hair was long and ragged, his clothing unwashed and stained with blood from meals long past.-
You have entirely too much faith in your God, Mr. Cullen. Too much indeed. If he were a true, merciful God, surely he wouldn't allow you and your, what was it you said? Flock? Yes, surely he wouldn't let your flock suffer as you are.
-Ness continued watching as her Papa and the vampire bantered back and forth. Papa took off towards the vampire with a stake in his hand, but the vampire just laughed. Laughed and laughed and laughed as though he were crazed. It was over before it started, really; the vampire had Carlisle in his grasp, then on the ground, then his teeth had sank into his neck and her Papa breathed no more.-
-she could barely stand the site, her heart breaking for the pain she had seen her family go through. Alice, and Rose, and now her Papa. She put her head in her hands and let out a sob... Then she was gone, again.-

-before she knew it, there she stood in the bedroom of a beautiful house; the sound of waves and exotic birds flowed through the air, as did the scent of.... scrambled eggs? She frowned and walked around, shaking her head at the mess in the room; there was broken furniture and feathers and clothes strewn everywhere. She wrinkled up her nose and quickly turned her face away; underwear and lingerie littered the floor, too.-
-she heard voices, worried voices, and headed towards them. They were coming from the bathroom. She walked in, unnoticed, and frowned at the look on her mothers, and fathers, faces. They looked shocked. Her mom gasped and put her hand on her stomach, smiling softly through the worry and her father spoke quickly and quietly to Carlisle on the other end of the line. Her jaw dropped when she heard mention of being pregnant, and then she smiled. This was when they had found out about her, her mama's "little nudger". Suddenly, her dad hung up the call and started running around like a crazy man, packing things and calling to her mom to get ready, that they were leaving.-
-before she knew it, she was sitting in the car beside her mom who was on the phone....-
Rose, it's Bella. I need your help.
-then once more she was in Gramma and Papa's house; her mom lay on the couch with a pained look on her face and her father was holding her hand. Jake sat nearby and made mention of it, her!, wanting blood. And she could almost feel the growl of her mom's stomach, feel her heart get excited with the thought of that rich, heady, thick liquid that she loved to drink so much. Aunt Rose went to get a glass; Edward had a funny look on his face and said no to which the sound of breaking glass resounded through the kitchen and her father shook his head. Rose came back in with a cup, and a straw, to hand to Edward. Bella sipped from hit and Nessa felt her entire body relax; it was as though she were drinking it. She rubbed her stomach and laughed at the look on Jacob's face, her laughter quickly stopping when she realized... this was what he didn't want her to do. To drink human blood. She turned away and waited, knowing soon she'd be somewhere else-
-before she knew it, she was sitting with her mom and the rest of her family, laughter filling the air. Her mom stood, knocking the glass to the floor; everyone stopped, not a sound could be heard as Bella reached for it then a loud CRACK! sounded. Bella fell to the floor and everyone sprang into action. The carried her mom to the "medical room", lay her on the bed and started freaking out. Rose insisted that they cut her mom open before the morphine could get through her system, but Rose refused; the baby was dying. She was dying. Her mom was cut open, Nessa was pulled out of her stomach... Rose took the baby and all but ran out of the room, and Jacob and Edward stayed. Her father bit her mother over and over, injecting her with her venom. Jake stood there in shock, tears streaming down his face. Then.... he left the room.-
-Nessa shook her head, unable to believe all that her mother and father had been through just so that she could be born. Edward had wanted her dead at first, but Bella had refused. Then, he slowly came around. She recalled hearing her fathers voice before she had been born, remembered hearing her mother speak to her and sing to her when everyone else was convinced the baby inside of her was evil and needed to die. When she realized that she was killing her mother, it broke her heart. She hadn't meant to make her so sick, to hurt her so bad. She just... needed room.-
-She shook her head and turned from the scene, walking out the front door and feeling her heart break even more. There sat her Jacob, sobbing on the front porch as her mom lay dead upstairs. She sat beside him for a moment, moved her hand to his face even though she knew it would do nothing, and then... she was gone, again.-

-the sound of a wolf in pain echoed off of the mountain tops. It was cold here, really cold, and she could hear people not too far away. She quickly made her way to them and stopped when she realized what it was: her mom and dad were in the tent talking. And her mom...... was irate.-
You KNEW he was there! You knew he would hear and you said it on purpose. I've gotta go talk to him, Edward.
-she frowned; she had never heard her mom be upset at him, not ever. But yet, here they were - her mom yelling at her father and her father staring at her mother as though he hadn't the slightest idea what he had done.-
-she shook her head at him and decided to follow Bella, knowing where she was going almost instinctively. She was going to Jake; that was Jake that had been howling as though his heart had been ripped into millions of pieces. She followed behind closely, keeping her eyes out for any little noise. Something was going down today, she could feel it. She didn't hear anything that was said; she was too focused on Jake. After having spent the past few days away from him, without seeing his face or hearing his voice, all she cared about was him. He was her everything; she loved him so much. But.... She frowned. Why was he staring at her mom like that? Why was her mom stepping into his arms?!-
NO!
-her screams couldn't be heard, of course. But that didn't stop her. She continued to stare, and yell, and feel as though her heart had been broken into billions of little irreparable pieces. Jake's lips pressed against Bella's, her mom's arms went around his neck. She couldn't believe it..... It was true. Jake had been in love with her mom, all this time.-
No... Jake, no.
-she shook her head and put her face in her palms, letting out a heartbroken scream as tears flowed down her cheeks-
