-leaving the house, Jazz's hand in mine, we raced for the forest. Cloudy, as usual, with patches of watery sunshine peaking through the layers every now and again, I grinned when patches of it would hit his skin, lighting it in a halo of diamond glimmers. His scars stood out as well, but I found them beautiful. Everything about him was beautiful to me. Especially his soul. Laughing as we dodged boulders and trees, I let go of him as we approached the lake, jumping over it easily and landing on the opposite side with delicate grace, spinning around to wait for him, a playful smile on my face- C'mon! Step to it, Mr. Hale! I'm hungry...

*I could never tire of the feeling I got holding Alice's hand in mine and the beautiful sound of her laughter. I loved being with her when we went out for a hunt or just for our alone time. The way the wind blew past her, the sun sparkling off her skin, it was absolutely stunning. It was cloudy, but it still didn't take away the wonderful feel of the misty air and the intoxicating scent of the forest. Alice jumped over the lake and I heard her taunting me from the other side. I couldn't help but laugh as I stepped back and launched myself over to the other side* Hungry, huh? Well, what are we waiting on then, my love?

-beaming off a cheeky grin, taking his hand once more, and squeezing it gently, we both were so in tune with each, we began to run at the same time. A blur of color, the bark on the trees, pale and composed of white brown bark as winter had begun its descent already. The leaves held a thin, raspy look, muted green and soft yellow. All of this whirled through my mind then I caught two distinct scents. To the north. Mountain lions and not to far behind them, the earthy smell of elk. Glancing at Jazz, knowing he'd caught it as well-Decisions, decisions. What do you feel like?

*Taking in all the scents and sights of the exquisite forest during this time of year, we ran with such ease and in tune with each other. I glanced over at Alice and noted that she caught the scent at the same moment I did, and we both smiled* Let's go for the bigger fight *laughing and giving her hand a squeeze, we both took off towards the north and caught sight of the lions. I crouched and waited for the right time. I watched as they were slowly stalking through the trees so elegantly. Waiting until the exact time, we both sprung for one. Coming down with my prey in my arms, I dug into the soft skin behind his left ear. I felt his claws scraping against my skin and that made this kill even more fun for me, I loved the fight. It thrilled me when there was resistance.

-my arms made an instant cage around the flank the lion, teeth tearing through its fur and sinew, the muscles bunching and resisting but it was no match for my hunger. I saw Jazz's look of pure delight when the beast struggled, refusing to die an easy death. Drinking deeply from the male lion's middle section, I twisted my arms, the bones crushing under my touch, a low snarl emitting from the throat. Then I was gorging myself, its blood filling me completely, taking long, slow pulls-

*Pulling the last bit in my mouth, I let go of the lifeless body. I looked over at Alice and I could feel her love and happiness radiating towards me. I sat and watched her finish with complete awe. Watching Alice hunt, with her quick and graceful strides, was something I could never actually describe in words. There were truly no words left that I could use to tell her how much I loved her, but I promised to never stop trying. I leaned up against a nearby tree and patiently watched as she devoured what was left of the lion*

-I finally lifted my head, licking my lips clean as I rose up and brushed off my clothes, straightening them with tugs of my small hands. Looking down on the mangled corpse of the lion, I only felt a quick, lingering moment of sadness. Laws of the jungle dictated that we, that I, was the top of this particular food chain and it was far better than feeding off the humans. Darting to Jazz's side, smiling up at him, wrinkling up my nose-Mmm. Got a little greedy there, didn't I? I'm sorry. Still hungry? -reaching up to wipe a spot of blood from his chin with my finger before sucking it it into my mouth. I mean, waste not, want not, right?-

*Feeling her finger brush up against my chin, and watching her put it in her mouth, made me tingle* Yes, still pretty hungry. *Putting my finger under her chin and raising her face to mine, I pressed my lips to hers. I wrapped my arms around her waist and pulled her closer to me, deepening the kiss* Just not really that hungry for food. *I started trailing kisses along her jaw and towards her ear, then whispered in her ear* Let's head home.

-amazing how, even after all our time together, after endless nights and days spent alone and wrapped in each other's arms, it never grew old or faded in any capacity. This shivery, melty feeling that only he had ever caused in me. Wrapping around him entirely, lifting my face for another deep, sweet kiss that had a soft, whispery moan falling from my lips, voice a bit husky with desire for him-Home sounds good. But know what sounds even better? -standing on tip toe and murmuring exactly what dark and delightfully sinful things I wanted to do to him, and have him to do to me, into his own ear before stepping back slightly, eyes trained on him, full of all I felt for him-

*Arching an eyebrow and smiling, I pulled her tightly against me. I kissed her lips deeply and felt her melt against me. I laughed at her words and grabbing her thighs, I picked her up and turned around. I pushed her up against the tree, not breaking our kiss, and moaned as I pushed up against her*

-the tree groaned a bit under the force of our bodies, but held its ground. My hands were everywhere, racing along his chest, his sides, his back as the kiss deepened. It was always this way with us. Always. And I, for one, was NOT complaining. I felt his excitement, it matched my own. I don't think we were going to make it home...-
