*Walks in the house looking around for family. Anyone? Esme? Noone seems to be home. At one time I couldn't get in the door without being run down by people waiting to say hello how was your day? Time changes things and people. Time marches on making one ponder on things taking stock on what is important, what is life changing? What if our perfect mask slips and our personality changes to make the loved ones notice and not like our changes. What if they don't notice at all that's the much more serious charge, that shows you are not a blip on their radar. Sitting down my bag walking upstairs to my study sitting down at my desk. Picking up my pen starting to jot down some random thoughts.
State of the Union Address of Carlisle Cullen
My fellow friends and family,
With it being December the end of this year. One should take stock on what past by this year. We have had much happen. We have new family members. We have lost friends. We have had accomplishments and many disappointments as well.
Our family is growing, aging but rather than the cohesive meld it has always been it seems to be breaking into hives within the family hive. But the one thing that I have noticed that they have totally dismissed the queen of the hive. She is the glue that has kept this family glued together, when she needs everyone the most, where are they? She needs their love it's the royal jelly that feeds her. Have they walked through the house with her staring off into space and not asked what is wrong? No they are too busy with what is going on with them. Are they reading her mind and dismissing it? Are they getting visions of things pertaining to her thinking things are on the fritz? The very people I hold above all others are ignoring the one who needs help?
Sighing tearing up the paper into tiny squares. Dropping it into the waste basket. If someone read my innermost thoughts and feelings they would be offended first, then think I am more than the two dimensional cardboard cut out peacemaker, patriarch and father. We cannot have the image they cling to destroyed.
Time changes everyone, and I mean everyone.*
