Mamaaaaaaa! -she called, her voice melodic and followed by laughter as she ran through the house. They hadn't spent time together in forever, and she was going to remedy that. She had ice cream with chocolate fudge drizzled on top for herself and a cup of fresh blood that was still warm cause she just got it minutes ago.- Mama hurry up before it's cold! -she grumbled and continued running through the house, gracefully at least which was something her mother couldn't claim to have been when she was human.-
-she came to a stop just inside the door leading back into the woods and grinned; there she was, sitting on a chair with the sun hitting her and her skin sparkling ever so slightly. Her mother was many things, but beautiful was at the top of the list. Beautiful wasn't even the word for it, though. There hadn't been a word created to describe it. She gently pushed the door open and walked outside, sitting beside her and handing her the cup before digging into her ice cream- Hey! I found you.

Bella was outside in the back of their cottage lounging on a chair as the sun came down on her skin, while she read Wuthering Heights only for the five hundredth time probably. It was nearing near winter again, but her body couldn't tell much of a difference as no weather effected her like it would were she human. She could hear Renesmee calling her name as she smiled and placed the book on her lap, turning her head to see her daughter running towards her. Her brown loose curls bouncing as she ran. Renesmee handed her a warm glass of animal blood and took a seat next to her in the chair. Edward was out hunting with his brothers and she was taking a break from her college studies. Having to take so many breaks throughout the year for family reasons, the sun being to bright some days, etc was making her delayed on graduation. She couldn't wait to be a teacher.
"You found me!" She smiled, looking over to the wonderful woman she'd given birth to only five years before. Astonished at how she'd grown up so lovely. "Where've you been? I hardly see you anymore since you're with Jacob." Bella smiled teasingly. "I take it....things are going...good?"

-she blushed a bit and stuck a big spoonful of ice cream in her mouth while looking at her mom with an impish grin- Things are great. He's with the pack today so I haven't seen him. Made me realize how much I missed hanging out with you, especially on days like today. -she sat in the chair next to her and laid back, the warmth of the sun hitting her body and making her sigh; it felt so, so good.-
How are you and daddy? I feel like I haven't seen you guys in forever. -gave her mama the best pout she had and hid a grin before putting another spoonful of ice cream in her mouth-

She sipped the warmed animal blood, draining the glass before setting the empty glass next to the chair. The sweet, wild taste was that of a small rabbit, just enough for a full glass of blood. Her daughter, so thoughtful. She nodded as Renesmee explained where Jacob was.
"Daddy and I are great. We've just been hanging out, studying for exams. He decided to go back to college next semester once he decides what to study this time. Have you thought about school?" She asked as she turned to face her daughter. She was so young and so innocent. Well, not much of a girl anymore. Especially because of the sounds she heard in her tree house some nights. Edward was struggling with the thought, he was old fashioned and thought she should wait. Bella understood, but didn't say much about it.

-she wrinkled up her nose- What's the point in going to a place where they are just going to try and teach me stuff I already know? I have the best teachers here at home anyways. -she grinned and finished off her ice cream before sitting the bowl on the table and laying back on the chair.-
I do think that I'd like to be a doctor or nurse, though, like Papa and Aunt Rose. I think it'd be fun to help people. -she looked back at her mom and really looked at her- Do you think I'll eventually have to stop saying you're my mom? Ya know, because we look the same age? -that had been bothering her for a while. Nahuel was 150, and still looked 17. But it wasn't guaranteed that he would always look that way. And they didn't know if she would either. What if she had kids with Jake; how long would they be around? And how long would Jake be around? So many thoughts going through her mind at the same time lately, she almost didn't know what to do with herself.-
-and speaking of Jake, she had a few questions she needed to ask her mom, but was unsure of how to come about it. She had 'heard' in that special way she had inherited from her dad that Jake and her mom had a..... thing? She thought that was how her dad had put it. Either way, she wanted to know but was afraid to know at the same time. What if it changed everything?-

Bella turned in her chair and took her daughter's hand in hers, looking into her beautiful brown with topaz flaked eyes. "You'll always be my daughter. No one can change that fact. No matter how old you are or get. For the public, to keep the secret, we'll have to come up with a plausible relation. It is very important to keep the secret. We don't need the Volturi coming back. It's good enough Charlie knows. I worry every day that they find out."
Rubbing her thumb along her smooth skin as she tilted her head. "And because I'm your mother I know something is bothering you. So what is it, out with it."

-she looked down at the ground, her eyes zoning in on a butterfly halfway across the yard that was sitting on a fallen leaf- I heard... Well, like daddy hears, something about..... -shook her head and sighed- What happened with you and Jake, mama? Before I was born?
-she was afraid to hear what it was, exactly, but she wanted to know... needed to know.-

Her question was not the one thing she was waiting for. She shifted in her seat, getting more and more used to acting human, and cleared her throat. "Jake and I? Sweetie, Jacob was my best friend. It's such a long story and it doesn't even matter. Do we have to go into that? Really?" She'd never told her the history of Edward and Jacob and how she loved them both, in different ways. She hadn't told her that Edward had left her for a time, thinking it best for her safety. So much from her life that she had yet to share with her daughter. Maybe it was time?

-she just looked at her intently, trying to see if she could hear what was going on in her head; but, just like her dad, she couldn't.- I mean, we don't have to. But I'd like to think you wouldn't keep something from me, your only child. -gave her mom the best pout she could muster and tried to prepare herself. Why was she so nervous about this?-

She sighed heavily and looked at her daughter contemplating how to go about explaining the complex relationship she had with her father and her now mate, Jacob Black. Taking her other hand into hers as she began.
"Well, when I was seventeen your grandma Renee and Pop Phil wanted to move to Florida. So I went to live with Grampa Charlie here in Forks. It was March, middle of semester and I was the new girl....."
