-everything was passing by way too quickly, and she didn't know what to do. She was technically 5, but her mind and body said otherwise. She looked 17, and if what Nahuel said was true, she would always look 17. It wasn't that she minded being bigger; sure, she got to spend time with Jake, finally experience what it was the Unca Em always joked about, got to experience things that she didn't think she ever would. But now? As much as she tried to control it, her emotions were everywhere. The fact that she felt she had lost her relationship with those closest to her, because she had grown so quickly, was almost devastating. She missed being able to relax with her dad and play the piano while her mom stood listening beside them. Or playing board games with Alice, Rose, Jasper and Emmett in the living room while her mom and dad 'showered' at the cottage. Even sitting on Papa Carlisle's lap while Gramma Esme braided her hair and told stories of how they had met so long ago.-
-all of that was hard to do, especially with her powers expanding. So many new things, things she was afraid to talk to anyone about, for fear of retaliation. Not so much from family, but from..... them. The ones that wore the black robes. She didn't remember much, but she did know that they gave her the heebie jeebies.-
-she shook her head and stretched on the bed, scratching her side before walking to her bathroom; she needed a shower before going out. She had to eat, again. It worried her how much she was eating lately, that she always felt that hunger in her gut. Maybe it was because she had gotten to where she didn't drain the animals. She couldn't bear the thought of killing something so pure, so peaceful. With a sigh, she turned on the faucet and climbed into the shower, leaning her head back and letting the water wash away all of her worry.-
