Edward is thankful for:- Family and For Life
Thanksgiving, a time for sharing, a time for love and joy, a time of celebration for those who are with us and for those who are not. There was a list of things that Edward Cullen was thankful for and the list was endless, but today was the day that he was thankful for his family. A family that would live forever. Edward had lost his human family from the first wave of the Spanish Influenza and Carlisle had saved him from his mother's wishes from what he had told him when he had asked about the day that he had been turned. He had always been thankful for Carlisle for giving him a second chance at life, a life that had been weighing heavy on him as the years droned by as they moved from place to place, maintaining their secret from all those around them. Until they had found themselves back once again in the small town of Fork's and that is where he met the love of his life. Edward had been thankful for a lot of things and he was most most thankful for Bella'c courage and strength that gave him the most precious gift, more than what he thought was impossible, Renesmee.
Becoming a vampire gave Edward a chance of the family that he never had, people that he could call brothers and sister, Alice, Jasper, Emmett and Rosalie. And two of the most wonderful parents that he could have Carlisle and Esme. He could not want anything else in the family that he had and a family that had grown more.
His cousin at the Denali clan he had been thankful for standing side by side against the Volturi to defend Renesmee. He had never been as proud at that moment when a family came together in the time of need. He was honored to have such a family around him that he could call his own. Something he believed too be impossible became the possible.
As the sun broke through the paneled glass windows as the reflecting rays of light danced across his pale white skin as the reflection of diamonds danced in swirls. An echoing bright cheerful laughter broke the mid morning day as Renesmee's laughter brightened his day as he heard Renesmee playing out in the forest just outside their cottage. Bella had taken Renesmee out for an early hunt, but he had stayed behind to sort somethings out that he had been planning for Bella and Renesmee. Things had changed so much with Renesmee and he had noticed that her relationship with Jacob had become more heated and he had certainly noticed that. Although he could probably not find the right words to use when it came to Jacob and Renesmee's relationship, but he was thankful that she had someone that she could turn too. It took him sometimes to admit his and Bella's relationship to himself as he did not want her to be in danger from what they were. But now things had changed. So being thankful for many things was a blessing to Edward, he had so many things that he was thankful for. A family that would live forever
