-Thanksgiving was coming up. She hadn't been 100% sure on what it was until her mama sat her down and told her about it. Thanksgiving is a time that everyone takes during the year to really focus on all that they are thankful for. While you should be thankful every day for the simple act of being able to exist, this day is when everything all comes into perspective.-
-what was she thankful for? So very much. She had a family that loved her enough to kill or die for her, a boyfriend (but so much more than even that) that loved her from the day she was born and had been beside her every step of the way, a mother that died for her, a father that didn't give up on her. So many things to think about and be happy about.-
-at the moment, she was thankful for the day. She had woken up in the arms of her heart, spent time with her family and loved on her precious little Ryder (because yes, he was hers even if Mama Rose didn't want to agree), let her mother know just how much she meant. And now she was waiting for Jake to shift so that they could run through the woods like they had when she was little just a few months ago, and so that she could fill the growing hunger in her stomach. Human food would sustain her, but it didn't make her feel 'full'. Blood was her ideal meal, with the occasional ice cream or other things.-
Jake! Hurry up! -she laughed as she took off into the woods, more quickly than she had been able to before. She was getting stronger every day, her speed increasing every time she ran. Even her 'powers' were getting different; she hadn't told her mom or anyone else yet, but she would need to soon. Because some things she didn't think she could handle all by herself.-
