Bella sat on the white sofa, her legs extended across the seats as she looked through family photo albums. Alice had put together such a great scrapbook of the past five years. Smiling as she flipped through the pages when Renesmee was younger. Her smile that could light up a room.
Remembering each day just like it were yesterday. Her first ballet recital, her first day of school. She and Edward playing the piano.
Something she picked up right away. In so many ways she was like Edward, in others, she was just like Bella. Edward entered the room and smiled as he approached the sofa. Bella moved so that he could sit behind her as she laid back against his chest, both of them looking at the album.
"Oh, I remember that. She was afraid the kids at school would make fun of the new girl." The photo reflected Renesmee's first day at her new school in New Hampshire.
She nodded and flipped the page. Renesmee grew before their eyes at an astonishing rate. Going from the sweetest child to a young lady. The years seemed to fly by when you were immortal.
As she closed the book, leaning her head back against his chest as she sighed. "I'm SO happy for Rose and Emmett. I know she always wanted that opportunity. She and Emmett are going to love being parents." He leaned over and kissed her mouth, in an upside down sort of way as she smiled against his lips. "This is different. But I like it." She said before pulling him back down into a kiss.
Breaking the kiss as a thought came to her. "Do you think he'll grow the same? And males are venomous, should we be worried?" He shook his head before answering. "I think everything will be just fine love. He will have all of us to help him understand. I do wonder, well, *he chuckled* I wonder if he'll be gifted in some way." She nodded in agreement. "I guess we'll have to wait and see, either way...I'm an aunt! I like that title. Never thought I'd be one." He kissed her forehead and whispered. "You'll be the best Aunt Ryder has seen. Aside from his fashionista aunt Alice." She laughed. "Yeah, Alice is hard to upstage isn't she." They both laughed before he suggested they go see how Ryder was doing. She sat up quickly and smiled. "I'd love to! But first, can we go to Seattle. I'd like to buy Ryder something." He seemed shocked that she of all people wanted to go shopping. Not arguing as he nodded. "I think that's a lovely idea. Renesmee I believe is having dinner at Jake's tonight. So let's go, shall we?"
