Sitting on the beach alone thinking, I had been so happy to get Billy and Jake's blessing. I was so scared at first I didn't know what Billy would say. I was relieved when he said yes. I definitely wanted Jake's blessing since he was close to his sister.
Taking Rachel for a walk on the beach that night...My heart was racing, my palms where sweaty. I am surprised I even got the words out to ask her. I felt as if a frog was in my throat.
But when she said yes, I was the happiest man in the world. Rachel would soon be Mrs. Lahote. -smiling- I like the sound of that. Soon, she will be walking down the isle to me. I smiled at that thought, I could not wait for our big day. Our family will be there. We will exchange our vows and I will place the ring on her finger.
I heard a howl in the distance I shook my head clear and shifted into my wolf form and headed to meet the pack grinning all the way. Nothing can turn this day into a bad one. At least I hope not.
