*After a few hours had passed after Rachel and her little BIG brother took a stroll on the beach. She started to think about what happen hours ago, she started to smile. Her hands motioned up to her hair, her thin brown finger tips ran through the many strands of hair. Bits of sand still was falling out even after her long shower trying to get all the sand out of her hair. She pulled her hands away from her hair before looking out the window seeing “Sam’s Pack” finally coming back from their patrol.
Rachel’s eyes landed on Paul’s face as she started to smile really big. She promised Jake she would spend more time with the “Black” family then with just Paul and the rest of the imprinted half of the tribe. Before turning my eyes away from the forest line Rachel’s eyes moved to her brother now standing on the porch with Billy. They seemed to be talking about something, wolf business she guessed. Rachel didn’t like to listen in on the “wolf” thing she didn’t really understand it. Well she did understand it but since she was not one as of yet or maybe never she really didn’t care to know. Unless It has to do with Paul, well and Jake too. She watched her brother very close to see if he was angry or if he might attack Paul and the rest of the Pack. Her heart started to race hoping that her brother wouldn’t start anything right now and ruin the good day we had today. She turned from the window in her room before she worked herself up into a fit. She walked over to her mirror on the dresser, looking into her own eyes for a few minutes before she left her head hang down. Her arms resting on the dresser as her head and shoulders now are starting to hang heavy. She knew Jake doesn’t want Paul and her to be together. Jake loved Rachel as any brother would, but he is willing to hate is best friend more then before he left the pack. Rachel knew it was only a matter of time before Jake would really snap on Paul if he doesn’t do it soon. Rachel looked back up into the mirror her dark brown hair started to fall away from her face before she gave herself a fake smile.* Billy- “Rachel, you awake still?” *Rachel heard her father at her door, the house they lived in was small yes. No matter the size they were happy with the house, they were always close to one another. Jake and Rachel always had a room next to one another. Thick as thieves they were, she started to wonder why they have left this wall of emotions and anger keep them from loving one another? She shook her head back to reality to answer her father before he thinks Rachel has killed herself.* Rachel- “Yea dad I am awake come in!” *Rachel called out as she tried to clear her face from any fear or anger like emotions. Billy slowly pushed open the door wide enough to roll himself into her room, he looked around at how much her room has changed in just a short time. Billy spotted the many pictures of her with Paul. He smiled widely before he turned his eyes to the picture of Rachel with her pregnant mother. Billy’s smile faded just a bit before he turned away from Rachel’s gaze.* Rachel- “Dad you okay?” *Her voice sang out like a Jazz singer in a club. Billy turned his eyes back to his little girl nodding his head yes before speaking to her.* Billy- “ I am very glad that you and Jake had time to spend together. It was well needed, you two are so lost in you imprinted mates that you have forgotten about each other. As well as forgotten me.” His eyes looked at Rachel as she sat down on her bed next to her father’s wheel chair. She put her hand on his right knee before turning her sad caring eyes away from her father’s eyes.*
Rachel- “ I know dad and I am sorry. But I have been trying to spend time with…*She paused for a long sigh as her father put his hand on her hand.* Jake but he is always with Bells and Edward and of course Nessie.” *She stopped for a moment. To look at her window above the head of her bed.* “He was to busy for me, so when Paul imprinted I spent all my time with him….*She turned her eyes back to her father.* I just wish we could find a happy medium and meet in the middle.” *Billy looked deeply at his little girl, his fingers rubbed the top of her smooth hand before pushing his free hand to pull her into a tight embrace.* Billy- “I know it is hard and I know you feel as if you have to fill the void of a missing brother. *He pulled away from the tight hug to look at his daughter for a moment before speaking once more.* “Paul my dear wont fill that void only your little brother can fill. Jake knows that he must make time for us. *He smiled before letting out a soft laugh.* “But he is hard to control he will do what he pleases no matter what. I just hope he realizes we need him to now that the Blood Sucker war is over.” *Rachel smiled with her father, it may have been fake as hell but she wanted to make her dad feel as if she was okay. Billy always knew better then to believe that, he knew very well that even though today was a good day for Rachel and Jake. Rachel is still hurt.* Billy- “Tell me what is really wrong sweetie?” *Her father looked at her trying to follow Rachel’s wondering yet avoiding gaze. Rachel didn’t want her father to basically read her mind. He finally met with her eyes, she looked at him and closed her eyes trying not to let out a tear.* Rachel- “Dad you know what the issue is, it has been the issue for a while now. Well since I imprinted on Paul.” *Billy looked at Rachel beginning to cry before his eyes. At this point Rachel couldn’t hold nor hide her tears from him.* Billy- “Tell me what has been happening, I will listen I always have. Start from the beginning one more time.” *Billy scooted his wheelchair closer to her side, just incase she needed her father’s shoulder to cry on. Rachel took a deep breath in held it for a long minute before letting it out. She needed to calm her nerves if she had to re-tell her father about this on going problem with Jake and Paul, Rachel’s mate.*
*Rachel opened her eyes once more to see her father was closer to her this time to hear the story again. Billy was a very caring man to his children. Expectably with his oldest daughter Rachel, she looked just like her mother it made Billy feel at ease when she was near. Felt like Mrs. Black was alive and well living through Rachel. She smiled to him once again a fake smile but she needed to try to calm down some how. She sighed before she began the story of a La Push Soap Opera.* Rachel- “Well, the day that Paul imprinted on me Jake was away, remember? *Billy nodded, keeping quiet for her to continue.* When I imprinted on Paul I remembered what it felt like to be alive again. I was spending more time with Paul as you remember then I was with you or Jake before he imprinted.” *She took a breath before beginning once more.* “I know it made Jake mad and he didn’t like it because of what happen to Emily-.” *Billy stopped her before she continued.* Billy- “Before you finish, you have to remember my dear that when you imprinted you had Paul here all the time. Jake was having a hard time with Sam’s Pack at the time. He couldn’t get away from them even at home….*Billy looked at her eyes starting to well up with tears. Rachel knew it was true but she didn’t know at the time.* “I know you love Paul Rachel and I am not telling you to stay away from your planned mate. It is to be that is the law and rule of imprinting. *Billy smiled after finishing his words, Rachel nodded to her father before starting to finish her story.* Rachel- “I know Jake was not happy about Paul being here all the time, eating the food and sleeping in my room. *Her face started to turn mad along with her emotions.* Dad I am older then Jake, yes he protects me. But I am allowed to be with someone no matter if he don’t want me with him. It is not up to him, and it really wasn’t up to me.” *Sighing* When Jake first saw Paul with me I was truly scared dad. He shifted into his wolf forum so did Paul. *Shaking her head at the memory of the two men she cares for more then life start to fight to the death.* Jake attacked Paul right there INFRONT of me. *She stood from her bed where she had been sitting to start to pace a bit.* Paul almost didn’t shift because I was around, but Jake “Mr. Worry” about me getting hurt by Paul in wolf forum. He shifted when we were talking next to one another. *Billy watched his daughter start to pace, this must have been bothering Rachel for a long time if she is this upset about this subject. Rachel looked at her father’s face as it started to get serious as she went on with her tale.* Billy- “Sorry baby girl please finish, I am listening I am just trying not to feel your pain and anger with you.” *Billy smiled at Rachel as she motioned to sit back down on her spot next to Billy.* Rachel- “Jake is always worried that Paul will hurt me, but Paul and I have told him many times that will never happen. Damnit dad even you know it wont happen! *Billy nodded with a smile knowing she spoke the truth.* “Dad, I just want to know how come he can worry about be with Paul when he is with well going to be with Nessie.” *She stands to her feet once more, her body moving quickly to the dresser to lean on. Her butt finally sits on the wood dresser, folding her arms on her chest she looks out the window once more to see Jake talking to Sam.* Billy- “You know he couldn’t help who he imprinted on. You and he as well already knows how I feel about that. But I know the laws and feelings that come with imprinting.” *She nodded her head, she knew her father was right. Still she needed to talk to Jake about this.* Rachel- “I have talked to Jake weeks before the amazing day we had today, I asked him to play nice. *She sighed yet again. Her nerves started to make her shake because the over load of emotions.* “He agreed to it, but Paul being in a good place is trying to defend me. Dad I try my hardest to keep the peace between the two wolf blooded Indians! But I can only do so much…..”
*She stopped talking to look out the window to see Jake walking back to the shied in the back. Jake looked very pissed about something, did something happen? Was there another problem with the local bloodsuckers? She started to get worried that another fight or war might break out and lose her lover and brother.* Billy- “Rachel?” *Billy looks at his little girl trying to get her attention, she seemed to drift off into the worried thoughts.* Rachel- “Sorry, I will finish what I was saying before I forget.” *She smiled this time it was not so fake as before. Knowing Jake and Paul were not fighting made her eyes seem more real.* Rachel- “I have talked to Paul as well about this Black/Lahote treaty, he agreed as well as Jake did. But for some reason Jake still cant seem to get over the fact we are together no mater how many times he says it doesn’t bother him.” *She sat down yet again on her bed this time closer to the window to watch for Paul coming to see her. He always came to see her at night after a patrol or a long run. Helped him sleep at night knowing Rachel was okay and still loved him.* Rachel- “I just don’t know what to do dad, should I just ignore Jake and his feelings since they change by random. Or should I try to have a talk with him about all this?” *She looked deep into her fathers small dark brown almost black eyes, his eyes have aged so much in the past few months. Billy smiled and wheeled his chair closer to her and the large window.* Billy- “I think you should do what you feel is RIGHT, not what is easiest. I know running from your brother would make it simple for you to cope. *He put his hand on her shoulder trying to her Rachel’s eyes to meet with his.* You and your brother need to talk about this, even if he gets mad he needs to get over what he feels and look at how you are feeling.” *Rachel’s eyes finally met her fathers as she heard him say those last few words ‘get over how he feels and remember how I am feeling.’ She thought to herself a few times as if it was a song on repeat.* Rachel- “I know I must talk to him about this, he just gets so mad when I even think about Paul. I just don’t want to make him pissed off with me enough for him to leave again.” *She hung her head down away from her fathers gaze. It really did hurt her that she was torn in between to people, not knowing what side to go on without losing someone in return.*
*Billy looked up out the window to see Jake standing close by, Jake had better hearing then a human.
Billy knew Jake could hear what his older sister was saying. Billy let Rachel continue for that reason, so Jake could hear all this before Rachel tires to talk to him. Jake started to look sad in his face, he knew he was hurting his sister. Billy saw Jake’s face change before turning his attention back to Rachel whom was still talking about this triangle.* Rachel- “I would die if I lost Jake in my life, but I would die just the same if not more if I lost Paul. *The tears started to rush down her face before she could even try to hold them back.* “I am stuck between a rock and a hard place on this one, I already know Jake is going to flip out and run away before I even finish the first sentence with ‘Paul’s’ name in it.” *Rachel turned on her lamp on the bedside table on. The son finally set from their time on the beach. The once blue then red sky was not black. No moon tonight, it made it look like there was no life or light anywhere in the world. The light hit her face the tears on her face lit up like crystals as Jake still stood by the tree away from light. He saw the gleam on his sister’s face, Jake hung down his head it killed him to see his family in pain. Most of all his sister, she was his world well before Nessie was born. Rachel looked away from the bright light to her fathers now lit up face. He seemed to be watching her hard, Rachel could feel it. Rachel knew her father was worried about her and her brothers well being. Billy looked out the window the shadow of his son on the tree faded in the light of Rachel’s room. Billy knew that Jake was still their to hear this.* Billy- “I am sure if you talk to him he will get mad yes, but you need to keep going on with the conversation no matter how mad. He must hear this, he needs to hear this no matter what the cost is.” *Rachel nodded to her father, he was right she needed to talk with her brother. Before that she needed to go to Paul and talk with him about this as well. Then maybe Rachel and her love life and family life wont be torn apart due to old drama.* Rachel- “I know dad, I will talk with him tomorrow or whenever he is back home with us and not at the Cullen’s.” *She looked at her dad, he was trying to find the shadow of Jake outside. She finally noticed he was looking at something, she turned trying to see what was going on. Nothing, she turned back to her dad.* Billy- “I am sorry my dearest, I need to run outside for a moment. Someone seems to be trying to get a hold of me. Besides I do believe you have someone you need to see.” *Billy looked away from his daughters window knowing Jake was now gone, turning his chair around he starts to roll out of the room. Rachel nodded to her father before he left the room, she stood to follow her father out of her room. She turned to close the door behind her before turning to the back of her father’s wheelchair rolling out the small narrow front door.*
*Rachel followed right behind her dad as the dark night took over the light from the house. Her eyes started to adjust to the none existence of light around them. She heard Billy talking to someone down at the end of the driveway. She walked toward her father whom was standing with Mrs. Clearwater. Rachel’s father was always with the Clearwater’s, if Rachel couldn’t find her father she knew where to look. Rachel walked over to the two talking about a movie they are going to watch. Mrs. Clearwater smiled at Rachel before looking at the young girl up and down with a bigger smile. Mrs. Clearwater turned down to Billy.* Mrs. Clearwater- “My goodness Rachel you look so grown up, and so much like your mother I feel like she is standing with us right now…” *Rachel knew that Mrs. Clearwater was best friends with her mother, Rachel smiled at her basically Aunt before turning her full attention to the noise she heard behind the three standing by the old bike Jake has.* Rachel- “What was that?” *Billy turned his chair to look where Rachel was looking. Rachel smiled as she saw Paul walk up into the faint light from the porch. She smiled at him before looking down at her father. She kissed Billy on the cheek before skipping over to Paul.* Billy- “Awe young love!” *Billy said to Mrs. Clearwater with a smile as they started to walk down the dirt road to the Clearwater house for a movie.*
*Rachel looked at Paul as she started to walk faster to him, she stopped as she made it one step away from him before he grabbed her up into his arms. Rachel felt amazing when Paul held her close to his hot blooded skin, she couldn’t help but melt like Ice Cream would against the heat his body gives off.* Paul- “I missed you Rach, sorry I was gone for a week Sam had us doing all sorts of things around here.” *Rachel leaned into his face for a kiss on his lips, her soft lips gently touched his for a quick but passion filled kiss.
She pulled her head back from the kiss as Paul finally looked at her face in some light then it was a few seconds ago.* Paul- “What is wrong Rach? You okay? Who made you cry?” *Paul started to ramble a few more questions before Rachel pushed her hand up to motion him to slow down and stop his anger.* Rachel- “I am okay no one hurt me, I was talking to my dad. He could feel I was in some sort of pain about something so he started to talk and then finally he dragged it out of me. *She paused to look at his eyes, Paul’s anger was starting to fade from his sight.* “He already knew the story but I told him once more since Jake wasn’t around to get mad and run off and make me man and run off and not finish my feelings.” *Rachel looked away from Paul for a moment before feeling his hot rough yet soft hands run slowly on her cheek. She looked up with her eyes but no her head.* Paul- “What did you say to Billy? What was his reply?” *She looked back down at the dirt that is black from the moon not being in the sky. She took a breath before answering Paul’s question. She heard the worry in his voice, there was not a moment that goes by that Paul worries about Rachel’s well being and happiness.* Rachel- “I told him everything beginning to end, he already knew most of it but I re-told him so he could help me. And he did, I have to talk to Jake Paul. Even if he gets mad and turns his cheek to me. I have to, he has to know that nothing will keep me from you. No matter how much it will hurt to lose my only brother.” *She started to cry once more, Paul pulled her into his arms trying to sooth her from crying more or even harder.*
Paul- “It’s gunna be okay baby, I promise. If Jake loves you at all he wouldn’t turn his cheek to you.” *Paul pulled away from the embrace to look at Rachel’s crying eyes, she was hurting in so many way. All those ways there was nothing for Paul to do to calm her but wait for her to talk to Jake.* Rachel- “I hope he doesn’t, I am just fearful that my brother will run from the problem like he always does. But if he does then I must move on and try to get over my brother not talking to me.” *Her tears stopped as she whipped her eyes from the river of tears she let loose. She looked into Paul’s eyes with a loving smile.* Rachel- “Let’s just hope he takes it well after he runs away. My dad said he would help with Jake, try to get him to listen before lashing out on me.” *She turned her eyes to the front door where Jake was standing now. She looked shocked he wasn’t there a moment ago. She hopped that he wouldn’t walk over to start anything, he didn’t. Jake turned and walked into the house without a word toward the couple holding each other.* Paul- “I better go I don’t need to push my luck with your brother right now.” *He leans down to Rachel and kisses her for a long time. A few minutes passed before he pulled his head away with a large smile and a bite to his bottom lip.* “I will come back tomorrow if Sam doesn’t send us on another long mission.” *He hugged Rachel tight before kissing her once more.* Rachel- “I love you Paul!” *Rachel said before pushing forward for one more kiss before he runs home. Paul smiled at Rachel before winking to her.* Paul- “See you tomorrow my love, *He looks at the house then back to Rachel.* “Good luck with your brother, I hope he listens and doesn’t lash out!” *He turns after one more hug from Rachel, Rachel watched Paul fade into the dark night surrounding the reservation. Rachel turned to the house taking a deep breath, letting out her air she started to walk toward the door of her house. She pushed open the front door after finishing her talk with Paul, she looked over to see Jake sitting down alone with the TV off and his hand crossed. She felt like he was mad due to the look on his face. Rachel smiled at her brother before she turned to the hallway to her room. She opened her door and with a flash of her “human” speed she shut the door, leaning on it for a moment she starts to breath heavy. He mind starts to race about the conversations she just has with Billy and then Paul. The words she said and was said was spinning like a record in her head.* Rachel- “Get over yourself Rach, you just need to talk out there and tell him its time to talk.” *She walked over to her window then back to her door. She did this for a few moments before stopping. She plopped down on her bed her hair bouncing with her body.* Rachel- “Damnit, I can’t do it right now. We had such a wonderful day……I will just ruin it like Leah ruins things…..*She sighed as she laid on her back looking at her blank ceiling. She closed her eyes trying to think of what to say to her brother without making him upset with her…..For hours she laid there thinking over and over what to say, before she knew it she was opening her eyes to see the sun was fully up and the birds were chirping loudly by her window….She was thinking all night long about the “talk” she is going to have with her brother……With in moments of her opening her eyes there was a knock on her door. It was Jake….* Jake- “Sis you awake? *He banged on the door again.* wake up, we need to go for another walk. Dad said you need to talk to me…..RACHEL *He yelled before Rachel could answer his question.* Rachel- “Yes, I am awake give me a minute to get dressed I will be out. We are not walking on the beach this time…..*She paused.* Let’s go for a walk in the forest or something we need to talk serious this time.” *She heard Jake moan knowing what is coming, Rachel didn’t say anything she didn’t know Jake already heard a lot of what she needs to say. She started to get ready for the walk with her brother, this time she was going to put on her hiking boots and work clothes. Things might get rough and dirty. She ran to the door cracking it just enough to show her face.* Rachel- “Just two minutes wont be long like yesterday, promise. Wait for me outside please?” *She slammed the door starting to pace worried about the up coming conversation. She heard Jake walk onto the Porch she knew she was safe to worry and get ready to go for a walk/hike alone with her brother……She was nervous at this point.*

But I am allowed to be with someone no matter if he don’t want me with him. It is not up to him, and it really wasn’t up to me.” *Sighing* When Jake first saw Paul with me I was truly scared dad. He shifted into his wolf forum so did Paul. *Shaking her head at the memory of the two men she cares for more then life start to fight to the death.* Jake attacked Paul right there INFRONT of me. *She stood from her bed where she had been sitting to start to pace a bit.* Paul almost didn’t shift because I was around, but Jake “Mr. Worry” about me getting hurt by Paul in wolf forum. He shifted when we were talking next to one another. *Billy watched his daughter start to pace, this must have been bothering Rachel for a long time if she is this upset about this subject. Rachel looked at her father’s face as it started to get serious as she went on with her tale.* Billy- “Sorry baby girl please finish, I am listening I am just trying not to feel your pain and anger with you.” *Billy smiled at Rachel as she motioned to sit back down on her spot next to Billy.* Rachel- “Jake is always worried that Paul will hurt me, but Paul and I have told him many times that will never happen. Damnit dad even you know it wont happen! *Billy nodded with a smile knowing she spoke the truth.* “Dad, I just want to know how come he can worry about be with Paul when he is with well going to be with Nessie.” *She stands to her feet once more, her body moving quickly to the dresser to lean on. Her butt finally sits on the wood dresser, folding her arms on her chest she looks out the window once more to see Jake talking to Sam.* Billy- “You know he couldn’t help who he imprinted on. You and he as well already knows how I feel about that. But I know the laws and feelings that come with imprinting.” *She nodded her head, she knew her father was right. Still she needed to talk to Jake about this.* Rachel- “I have talked to Jake weeks before the amazing day we had today, I asked him to play nice. *She sighed yet again. Her nerves started to make her shake because the over load of emotions.* “He agreed to it, but Paul being in a good place is trying to defend me. Dad I try my hardest to keep the peace between the two wolf blooded Indians! But I can only do so much…..”
*She stopped talking to look out the window to see Jake walking back to the shied in the back. Jake looked very pissed about something, did something happen? Was there another problem with the local bloodsuckers? She started to get worried that another fight or war might break out and lose her lover and brother.* Billy- “Rachel?” *Billy looks at his little girl trying to get her attention, she seemed to drift off into the worried thoughts.* Rachel- “Sorry, I will finish what I was saying before I forget.” *She smiled this time it was not so fake as before. Knowing Jake and Paul were not fighting made her eyes seem more real.* Rachel- “I have talked to Paul as well about this Black/Lahote treaty, he agreed as well as Jake did. But for some reason Jake still cant seem to get over the fact we are together no mater how many times he says it doesn’t bother him.” *She sat down yet again on her bed this time closer to the window to watch for Paul coming to see her. He always came to see her at night after a patrol or a long run. Helped him sleep at night knowing Rachel was okay and still loved him.* Rachel- “I just don’t know what to do dad, should I just ignore Jake and his feelings since they change by random. Or should I try to have a talk with him about all this?” *She looked deep into her fathers small dark brown almost black eyes, his eyes have aged so much in the past few months. Billy smiled and wheeled his chair closer to her and the large window.* Billy- “I think you should do what you feel is RIGHT, not what is easiest. I know running from your brother would make it simple for you to cope. *He put his hand on her shoulder trying to her Rachel’s eyes to meet with his.* You and your brother need to talk about this, even if he gets mad he needs to get over what he feels and look at how you are feeling.” *Rachel’s eyes finally met her fathers as she heard him say those last few words ‘get over how he feels and remember how I am feeling.’ She thought to herself a few times as if it was a song on repeat.* Rachel- “I know I must talk to him about this, he just gets so mad when I even think about Paul. I just don’t want to make him pissed off with me enough for him to leave again.” *She hung her head down away from her fathers gaze. It really did hurt her that she was torn in between to people, not knowing what side to go on without losing someone in return.*
*Billy looked up out the window to see Jake standing close by, Jake had better hearing then a human.
Billy knew Jake could hear what his older sister was saying. Billy let Rachel continue for that reason, so Jake could hear all this before Rachel tires to talk to him. Jake started to look sad in his face, he knew he was hurting his sister. Billy saw Jake’s face change before turning his attention back to Rachel whom was still talking about this triangle.* Rachel- “I would die if I lost Jake in my life, but I would die just the same if not more if I lost Paul. *The tears started to rush down her face before she could even try to hold them back.* “I am stuck between a rock and a hard place on this one, I already know Jake is going to flip out and run away before I even finish the first sentence with ‘Paul’s’ name in it.” *Rachel turned on her lamp on the bedside table on. The son finally set from their time on the beach. The once blue then red sky was not black. No moon tonight, it made it look like there was no life or light anywhere in the world. The light hit her face the tears on her face lit up like crystals as Jake still stood by the tree away from light. He saw the gleam on his sister’s face, Jake hung down his head it killed him to see his family in pain. Most of all his sister, she was his world well before Nessie was born. Rachel looked away from the bright light to her fathers now lit up face. He seemed to be watching her hard, Rachel could feel it. Rachel knew her father was worried about her and her brothers well being. Billy looked out the window the shadow of his son on the tree faded in the light of Rachel’s room. Billy knew that Jake was still their to hear this.* Billy- “I am sure if you talk to him he will get mad yes, but you need to keep going on with the conversation no matter how mad. He must hear this, he needs to hear this no matter what the cost is.” *Rachel nodded to her father, he was right she needed to talk with her brother. Before that she needed to go to Paul and talk with him about this as well. Then maybe Rachel and her love life and family life wont be torn apart due to old drama.* Rachel- “I know dad, I will talk with him tomorrow or whenever he is back home with us and not at the Cullen’s.” *She looked at her dad, he was trying to find the shadow of Jake outside. She finally noticed he was looking at something, she turned trying to see what was going on. Nothing, she turned back to her dad.* Billy- “I am sorry my dearest, I need to run outside for a moment. Someone seems to be trying to get a hold of me. Besides I do believe you have someone you need to see.” *Billy looked away from his daughters window knowing Jake was now gone, turning his chair around he starts to roll out of the room. Rachel nodded to her father before he left the room, she stood to follow her father out of her room. She turned to close the door behind her before turning to the back of her father’s wheelchair rolling out the small narrow front door.*
*Rachel followed right behind her dad as the dark night took over the light from the house. Her eyes started to adjust to the none existence of light around them. She heard Billy talking to someone down at the end of the driveway. She walked toward her father whom was standing with Mrs. Clearwater. Rachel’s father was always with the Clearwater’s, if Rachel couldn’t find her father she knew where to look. Rachel walked over to the two talking about a movie they are going to watch. Mrs. Clearwater smiled at Rachel before looking at the young girl up and down with a bigger smile. Mrs. Clearwater turned down to Billy.* Mrs. Clearwater- “My goodness Rachel you look so grown up, and so much like your mother I feel like she is standing with us right now…” *Rachel knew that Mrs. Clearwater was best friends with her mother, Rachel smiled at her basically Aunt before turning her full attention to the noise she heard behind the three standing by the old bike Jake has.* Rachel- “What was that?” *Billy turned his chair to look where Rachel was looking. Rachel smiled as she saw Paul walk up into the faint light from the porch. She smiled at him before looking down at her father. She kissed Billy on the cheek before skipping over to Paul.* Billy- “Awe young love!” *Billy said to Mrs. Clearwater with a smile as they started to walk down the dirt road to the Clearwater house for a movie.*
*Rachel looked at Paul as she started to walk faster to him, she stopped as she made it one step away from him before he grabbed her up into his arms. Rachel felt amazing when Paul held her close to his hot blooded skin, she couldn’t help but melt like Ice Cream would against the heat his body gives off.* Paul- “I missed you Rach, sorry I was gone for a week Sam had us doing all sorts of things around here.” *Rachel leaned into his face for a kiss on his lips, her soft lips gently touched his for a quick but passion filled kiss.
She pulled her head back from the kiss as Paul finally looked at her face in some light then it was a few seconds ago.* Paul- “What is wrong Rach? You okay? Who made you cry?” *Paul started to ramble a few more questions before Rachel pushed her hand up to motion him to slow down and stop his anger.* Rachel- “I am okay no one hurt me, I was talking to my dad. He could feel I was in some sort of pain about something so he started to talk and then finally he dragged it out of me. *She paused to look at his eyes, Paul’s anger was starting to fade from his sight.* “He already knew the story but I told him once more since Jake wasn’t around to get mad and run off and make me man and run off and not finish my feelings.” *Rachel looked away from Paul for a moment before feeling his hot rough yet soft hands run slowly on her cheek. She looked up with her eyes but no her head.* Paul- “What did you say to Billy? What was his reply?” *She looked back down at the dirt that is black from the moon not being in the sky. She took a breath before answering Paul’s question. She heard the worry in his voice, there was not a moment that goes by that Paul worries about Rachel’s well being and happiness.* Rachel- “I told him everything beginning to end, he already knew most of it but I re-told him so he could help me. And he did, I have to talk to Jake Paul. Even if he gets mad and turns his cheek to me. I have to, he has to know that nothing will keep me from you. No matter how much it will hurt to lose my only brother.” *She started to cry once more, Paul pulled her into his arms trying to sooth her from crying more or even harder.*
Paul- “It’s gunna be okay baby, I promise. If Jake loves you at all he wouldn’t turn his cheek to you.” *Paul pulled away from the embrace to look at Rachel’s crying eyes, she was hurting in so many way. All those ways there was nothing for Paul to do to calm her but wait for her to talk to Jake.* Rachel- “I hope he doesn’t, I am just fearful that my brother will run from the problem like he always does. But if he does then I must move on and try to get over my brother not talking to me.” *Her tears stopped as she whipped her eyes from the river of tears she let loose. She looked into Paul’s eyes with a loving smile.* Rachel- “Let’s just hope he takes it well after he runs away. My dad said he would help with Jake, try to get him to listen before lashing out on me.” *She turned her eyes to the front door where Jake was standing now. She looked shocked he wasn’t there a moment ago. She hopped that he wouldn’t walk over to start anything, he didn’t. Jake turned and walked into the house without a word toward the couple holding each other.* Paul- “I better go I don’t need to push my luck with your brother right now.” *He leans down to Rachel and kisses her for a long time. A few minutes passed before he pulled his head away with a large smile and a bite to his bottom lip.* “I will come back tomorrow if Sam doesn’t send us on another long mission.” *He hugged Rachel tight before kissing her once more.* Rachel- “I love you Paul!” *Rachel said before pushing forward for one more kiss before he runs home. Paul smiled at Rachel before winking to her.* Paul- “See you tomorrow my love, *He looks at the house then back to Rachel.* “Good luck with your brother, I hope he listens and doesn’t lash out!” *He turns after one more hug from Rachel, Rachel watched Paul fade into the dark night surrounding the reservation. Rachel turned to the house taking a deep breath, letting out her air she started to walk toward the door of her house. She pushed open the front door after finishing her talk with Paul, she looked over to see Jake sitting down alone with the TV off and his hand crossed. She felt like he was mad due to the look on his face. Rachel smiled at her brother before she turned to the hallway to her room. She opened her door and with a flash of her “human” speed she shut the door, leaning on it for a moment she starts to breath heavy. He mind starts to race about the conversations she just has with Billy and then Paul. The words she said and was said was spinning like a record in her head.* Rachel- “Get over yourself Rach, you just need to talk out there and tell him its time to talk.” *She walked over to her window then back to her door. She did this for a few moments before stopping. She plopped down on her bed her hair bouncing with her body.* Rachel- “Damnit, I can’t do it right now. We had such a wonderful day……I will just ruin it like Leah ruins things…..*She sighed as she laid on her back looking at her blank ceiling. She closed her eyes trying to think of what to say to her brother without making him upset with her…..For hours she laid there thinking over and over what to say, before she knew it she was opening her eyes to see the sun was fully up and the birds were chirping loudly by her window….She was thinking all night long about the “talk” she is going to have with her brother……With in moments of her opening her eyes there was a knock on her door. It was Jake….* Jake- “Sis you awake? *He banged on the door again.* wake up, we need to go for another walk. Dad said you need to talk to me…..RACHEL *He yelled before Rachel could answer his question.* Rachel- “Yes, I am awake give me a minute to get dressed I will be out. We are not walking on the beach this time…..*She paused.* Let’s go for a walk in the forest or something we need to talk serious this time.” *She heard Jake moan knowing what is coming, Rachel didn’t say anything she didn’t know Jake already heard a lot of what she needs to say. She started to get ready for the walk with her brother, this time she was going to put on her hiking boots and work clothes. Things might get rough and dirty. She ran to the door cracking it just enough to show her face.* Rachel- “Just two minutes wont be long like yesterday, promise. Wait for me outside please?” *She slammed the door starting to pace worried about the up coming conversation. She heard Jake walk onto the Porch she knew she was safe to worry and get ready to go for a walk/hike alone with her brother……She was nervous at this point.*
