-Laying in bed, the smell of bacon and eggs around the house making his stomach growl. Normally that would have Jake bolt up, heading to the kitchen within seconds. Today his mind set was all on one thing..... If his past years with Nessie was worth the years of pain he would have now. Would he have been better off not knowing or having imprinted? after all, not knowing or feeling what something is.... how could you miss it, it wouldn't be able to hurt you either. The pain... the whole inside of him, it would never be filled. In time it wouldn't be so great, the void would still be there.
Imprinting is nothing like love! it's destiny. The fabric of life was designed to bring you together, fates had a hand in it. It was the reason he was so drawn to Bella, fates knew that he had to be there at the right time. That moment that he saw Nessie would never leave him, he felt it every time that Nessie had ran to him. The world stopping for them, no one existed in the space around them. It was just the two of them, many of times Jake had laid his life on the line for Nessie. He had left the pack for her safety, to protect her! for the rest of her life?!
How could he do that when she was miles away? *Slamming his fist through the pine wood bedside cabinet, one he had made several years go. Now it was as much use to him as a t-shirt was.... It just wasn't worth it!!! This pain was too much, he needed to move on. Stop thinking of the girl he once had, because that was now just the past.-
